This is my absolute favorite orange tomato variety. There was a lot of confusion when it first started setting on ripe fruits, because it didn’t look anything at all like the tomato in the catalog I had ordered from the source I used to get the original seeds from. I loved the taste of it so much though that I knew I had to find out just what this orange variety was. After much sleuthing I discerned that it was in fact the original Pineapple tomato and that a lot of seed companies are selling the Hawaiian Pineapple which is orange/yellow with red streaks with just the name of Pineapple and there was my confusion! I do intend to sell the Hawaiian Pineapple soon, but this one deserves a spot all its own in your garden!
I am a big fanatic of cottage cheese and tomatoes, and though I love my Red tomato varieties, I found myself constantly grabbing this juicy orange one to put in my bowl. Its flavor is unparalleled compared to other orange varieties and I know you will love it just as much as I do.
Developed in the state of Kentucky originally. This Indeterminate variety will produce lots of 1-2# Orange fruits in 85-90 days.
