My passion is growing heirloom tomatoes! Several years ago, a friend introduced me to an heirloom variety called Indiana Red, a tomato I had never heard of before. Upon tasting it, I was hooked! I couldn’t get over how great it tasted. Most important to me was how thin the skin was and how few seeds it had. I decided that wanted to grow this particular variety every year. After my first encounter with that heirloom, I started researching other heirloom varieties and found many more that I couldn’t live without.
