I have raised this variety for over 20 years and in fact it may be the first heirloom yellow that I raised. It was actually very common in our local markets to be able to get transplants for it and I liked the taste of it so well, that I would seek it out every spring to plant in my own garden.
I love all tomatoes, but the yellows and oranges hold a very special place in my heart, I’ve always liked the complexities of their flavors and 9 times out of 10 when I want a tomato to put in my cottage cheese it will almost always be a yellow or orange one.
Golden Jubilee will not disappoint you in flavor and production. The yellow/orange fruits can weigh up to a pound , but tend to be more baseball size and perfect for a sandwich or just plain eating whole! They have a thin skin and not overly seedy. The fruits are born on indeterminate vines and will ripen in 80-85 days. This one will become a family favorite.
