I worked for the Lutz family who owned a plant nursery in Sulphur,Indiana for about a year and a half from 1990-92. When they heard I was starting an online seed business they gifted me this very neat paste tomato they called Lutz’s Pride that one of their family members who had fought in World War 2 had brought back from Germany after the war and they have been raising it ever since then.
Lutz’s Pride produces an abundance of 8-12 oz fruits on indeterminate foliage and will produce all the way up to frost.
This is a great tomato for making sauces or salsa and is easy to work with.
