Introduced in 2011by Jim Myers a plant breeder from the University of Oregon, this spectacular large cherry type tomato is a winner for your garden!
The 1-2 oz fruits will turn a dark purple with the same naturally occuring compound found in Blueberries, Blackberries and Elderberries that is believed to have many health benefits.
When they are fully ripe, the bottoms will turn from green to a solid red color and will be soft, they do take longer to ripen than some other varieties, but they are well worth the wait. The fruits have an almost citrusy taste to them without the sourness, if you want a truly unique tomato to add to your collection than you really need to try this one here!
